Self-Assessments help early childhood educators reflect on their current practices in comparison to evidence-based practices determined by the most up-to-date research. Go NAPSACC’s evidence-based practices for ECE programs can help children up to age 5 develop healthy habits for eating, physical activity, social emotional growth and oral health. The Go NAPSACC self-assessment is the first step toward change. Go NAPSACC’s ECE program tools allow ECE programs to complete and save their self-assessments online, then continue through the Go NAPSACC 5 Step Improvement Process by setting goals, creating action plans, and using favorite tips and materials to guide them along the way.
Printable versions of the self-assessments are available below and may be used when helpful, but we encourage users to access self-assessments through their Go NAPSACC accounts to benefit from the complete tools, guidance, and tracking features available.
Each self-assessment includes specific how-to-instructions on the first page.
